This year is Craft Year 2020, a special project led by the Canadian Crafts Federation alongside Canada’s Provincial & Territorial Craft Council and its affiliate members to celebrate craft in all its forms. Arts Etobicoke will be recognizing Craft Year 2020 with our upcoming Craftsake show, a month-long craft exhibition showcasing contemporary and traditional crafts from Etobicoke based artists and artisans. We invite all makers who work in glass, wood, ceramic, metal, fibre and more to be a part of this month-long appreciation and celebration craft in all its forms.
Alongside this show, there will be a series of artist talks and hands-on “Wednesday Workshops” on June 10, 17, 24, and July 8, 2020 from 6 to 8 pm. More details to follow.
