Arts Etobicoke in partnership with Delta Family Resource Centre is thrilled to announce a free series of arts activities in Wincott Park!

Arts in Wincott Park program activities are FREE and will be held for six weeks from September 2nd to October 9th, every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 3pm to 6pm. The program will feature a series of small and safe workshops in various disciplines, including Visual Art & Crafts, Theatre, Music, and Dance for multicultural and multigenerational participants. All appropriate Health & Safety protocols will be in place and PPE available on-site.

As we experience the social impact of the Pandemic, the importance of community and connection is heightened more than ever, especially for neighbourhoods that are isolated and under-served. Wincott Park is located near the Kingsview Village- Westway (KVW) neighbourhood, which has been identified as an Neighbourhood Improvement Area (NIA) by the City of Toronto. Arts in Wincott Park will bring together KVW community members through vibrant arts and culture programming and address the need for more programmable spaces for communities living outside of the Downtown core.

Arts in Wincott Park has concluded for 2020. Thank you to everyone who came out and took part, we hope to see you again next summer. Arts Etobicoke would like to thank all of our wonderful artists and volunteers and our program partner Delta Family Resource Centre for making Arts in Wincott Park possible!
