Arts Etobicoke is excited to be partnering with @soundstreams to present Townhall: Indigenous Voices, a compelling musical experience that you can enjoy right from your own home! Join us virtually on Thursday, July 29 at 6:30pm for an evening of Indigenous music followed by an engaging conversation with the artists. The music is created by Métis composer Ian Cusson who has written songs both poignant and provocative. He has curated this program of contemporary Indigenous songs, performed by Métis mezzo-soprano Rebecca Cuddy.

Join us after the screening at 7:30pm for a lively discussion with Ian, Rebecca, and local Etobicoke artist Philip Cote. They will be joined by Soundstreams Founding Artistic Director Lawrence Cherney as they discuss what role the arts play in uncovering and highlighting the Indigenous experience in Canada. Register at www.soundstreams.ca

Encounters: Indigenous Voices and Town Hall: Indigenous Voices are supported by @td_canada #tdreadycommitment
