Arts Etobicoke in partnership with Delta Family Resource Centre is thrilled to present Arts in Wincott Park – a FREE series of arts activities and workshops for the residents of Kingsview Village – Westway community.

Come dance with us! Join us for a free, outdoor, creative movement workshop for the whole family. We are running a fun, active, dance arts workshop for kids and their families. Participants will be guided through a movement-based exploration, with a focus on dance and physical activity. Our workshop will be hosted by a few of our talented Swallowing Clouds artists. This class is for ages 6-11. Parents/Guardians welcome to participate.

Swallowing Clouds, founded by Artistic Director, Yvonne Ng, has been delivering programming with the Toronto Public Library since 2010. It brings professional dancers, authors, poets, and musicians into the community to work with children and youth. Our interdisciplinary approach provides participants with a safe space to express themselves physically, aesthetically, and emotionally.

tiger princess dance projects focus on dance and arts within the community by connecting artists at various levels, experiences, and ages. We engage with older adults, youth, and professional artists through various dance-based journeys. Developed and delivered by arts professionals since 2007, our education programmes nurture the creative process through discovering dance from a non-professional perspective.
