Arts Etobicoke in partnership with Delta Family Resource Centre is thrilled to present Arts in Wincott Park – a FREE series of arts activities and workshops for the residents of Kingsview Village – Westway community.

Calling all young artists! Join The Concerned Kids (TCK) as we help Aurora prepare for her camping adventure. This upcoming long weekend, our TCK puppet friend Aurora is going to enjoy the beautiful outdoors with her family and friends. The only problem is, she doesn’t know what to bring! Together with our professional TCK Facilitators, our young artists will use their improv, storytelling, and crafting skills to develop a storyboard illustrating Aurora’s camping experience. Children attending this workshop will create an interactive storyboard art piece. Each child will be provided with all of the required materials for the project; including scissors, glue, and craft supplies. Parental supervision is required. This class is for ages 4-9.

The Concerned Kids has been providing immersive art and puppetry experiences for over 30 years. Our team of professionally trained cast members have facilitated and performed all over the world, with the goal of bringing joy to everyone that they encounter. Our organization has over 20 beloved puppets who perform with their puppeteers in our school-based program and online shows; each with unique backstories, abilities, and personalities. Our storytelling and creative projects highlight the importance of celebrating differences and creating an inclusive and accessible world for all!
