Arts Etobicoke is thrilled to partner with the Central Etobicoke Youth Agency (CEYA) to offer an online skills development program on the fundamentals of audio programming and digital music making, led by instructor and musician Jason Doell. In a series of eight workshops, participants will be introduced to new ways of composing sounds while learning to code through a programming software called ChucK. This 8-week series will be held online via ZOOM. Arts Etobicoke can provide assistance for participants who do not have access to either laptop or internet.

This is a paid opportunity for the youth to develop and gain new skills for opportunities in digital music production. Participants are not required to have any prior experience in coding, however, some basic understanding of this technology is an asset. This program is for youth ages 14+
