Sock Puppet Making with Mr. Douglas and Jessi

Participants will design a sock puppet with Mr. Douglas, complete with interchangeable Velcro faces. This will prompt a conversation about emotion expression in art. Jessi will lead participants in a painting exercise wherein they paint a canvas with the type of background that would go with the “mood” of their puppet. For example, a dark and stormy background would lend itself to spooky puppetry, or a sunny background would lend itself to bright and cheerful puppetry. This workshop is for ages 5-12.

We have two back to back sessions of the same workshop in order to accommodate more participants. However, each workshop will only have 7 participants so please register below to book your spot.
