Come listen to incredible live performances while you explore Augmented Reality in the Village of Islington! Join us on Saturdays September 18th, 25th, and October 2nd for a series of special live performances with local musicians. This Saturday come check out Luis Anselmi and Camila Lozada, bringing you the best of Latin jazz and world pop music. Performances will take place every hour on the hour from 12-5pm at Michael Power Park and outside the Arts Etobicoke Storefront Gallery. Discover new art and enjoy some live music while you explore the Village.

A new mural is coming to Wincott Park! Join artist @khaulamazhar on August 25th and 27th from 3-5pm for an interactive workshop and community consultation where we will explore the theme of nature and community. We will share stories and memories to brainstorm ideas for the final mural through a series of paintings and stencil making. Arts Etobicoke is excited to be partnering with @soundstreams to present Townhall: Indigenous Voices, a compelling musical experience that you can enjoy right from your own home! Join us virtually on Thursday, July 29 at 6:30pm for an evening of Indigenous music followed by an engaging conversation with the artists. The music is created by Métis composer Ian Cusson who has written songs both poignant and provocative. He has curated this program of contemporary Indigenous songs, performed by Métis mezzo-soprano Rebecca Cuddy.
Join us after the screening at 7:30pm for a lively discussion with Ian, Rebecca, and local Etobicoke artist Philip Cote. They will be joined by Soundstreams Founding Artistic Director Lawrence Cherney as they discuss what role the arts play in uncovering and highlighting the Indigenous experience in Canada.
