EMP produces two full cast Broadway musicals each year. Our company of volunteers, actors, set builders, lighting and sound folks, make-up artists, etc. work for many months to bring a professional quality show to the stage for our patrons. Our motto is " Downtown quality with the price and convenience of community theatre".

Kids on Broadway


Kids on Broadway is a musical theatre performance program for children ages 9 to 15 who are interested in being involved in a professional theatre experience. Auditions are held in June for the 12 week fall session beginning the first week in September in which students receive instruction in acting, voice and choreography. During the second session from Dec to the end of May, the students prepare for a full scale Broadway musical to be presented at The Assembly Hall

Sirius Theatrical Company

Sirius Theatrical Company runs a theatre school that provides on-going classes and workshops in acting technique, scene study, audition technique and presentation skills for business people.
