Spirited performances and magnificent sound characterize this vibrant, 40-member community-based ensemble. Through its 4-part Concert Hall series, the Etobicoke Community Concert Band showcases outstanding Canadian talent, and thrilling programming runs the gamut of musical periods and innovative themes. In concert with its acclaimed spin-off ensemble, the Etobicoke Swing Orchestra, the band produces an informal summer series of "al fresco" programs and is a major performing partner in charitable events and community causes.

The EPO comprises approximately 60 musicians, professional and amateur adults, with professional section leaders and coaches. Under the direction of our new conductor Sabatino Vacca our orchestra performs six concerts per season. This year we celebrate our 50th Anniversary with a Gala event on June 3, 2011.
