Presidents' Legacy Scholarship Fund

The Presidents' Legacy Scholarship Fund, launched in 1999, was established as an endowment fund with the Ontario Arts Foundation to provide financial assistance to young people from West Toronto wishing to pursue their education in the arts.

Scholarships are awarded to students attending designated arts education institutions. To date, approximately 75 young people have received scholarships and awards from the program. Click here to read more about recent scholarship winners.

The Province of Ontario through the Ontario Arts Foundation has matched all dollars raised through various fundraising initiatives. The total raised through contributions and matching funding from the OAC Foundation has reached almost $200,000. This endowment generates interest annually in perpetuity to be used for scholarships and awards.

All donations to the fund are tax receiptable and donors giving $2,500 or more can name the scholarship or award. If you are interested in learning more about our Presidents’ Legacy Scholarship Fund or in making a donation to support our young aspiring artists, please call us at 416-622-8731 or email info@artsetobicoke.com.
