Want to develop your visuals arts portfolio in preparation for academic studies at postsecondary institutions?

Join instructor Khadija Aziz, a visual artist and OCADU student, in creating your own mixed-media portfolio. Students will work on drawing (including portraiture), collage, and mixed media techniques and will experiment in both representational and abstract styles. Portfolio presentation and critique skills will also be reviewed.

Throughout the 6-week class, students will develop their artistic skills and learn about the diversity of Visual Arts Programs and creative opportunities in the GTA.

Khadija Aziz is a process-based visual artist exploring the hybridization of traditional mediums and digital technologies. She had her first solo exhibition at Whippersnapper Gallery in August 2015. Khadija is a certified emerging facilitator by NIA Centre for the Arts, and she is an award-winning youth volunteer as the youngest recipient of the Volunteer Toronto Legacy Award in 2015 for her contributions in communities through arts.
