Our After-School Art Drop-in program is a hit with local youth who participate on a regular basis to make art, socialize and learn. The program features free weekly arts educational activity and can accommodate 15 to 20 participants.
The classes are led by professional artist Faten Toubasi. An art teacher with over 20 years of experience in her native Palestine, Faten lives in the nearby Mabelle neighbourhood where many of the Drop-In participants also live.
Faten has been involved with Arts Etobicoke as a volunteer and paid contractor since 2007. With specialist degrees in art education for children and her close connection to our community, Faten is an ideal choice as Drop-In Facilitator.
