Overview

Since 1973, we have taken a leadership role in delivering local community arts programs that inspire, engage and encourage people of all ages and diverse backgrounds to “ignite their creative spirit.”

Our own arts programs include:

  • Storefront Gallery annual exhibitions
  • Art Rental & Sales Service
  • 'smART stART' Student Art Show at Sherway Gardens
  • Saturday Storefront Art Classes
  • Presidents' Legacy Scholarships

We also partner with other organizations to present arts and education programs such as:

  • Exploring Creativity in Depth (with The Milkweed Collective)
  • This is My Neighbourhood (with Toronto District School Board, Inner City Angels and Art Gallery of Ontario)
  • Art on the Move (with Lakeshore Arts)
  • Art Alley (with Amnesty International)

With our increasing focus on North Etobicoke, we are proud to support a variety of arts programs that extend our commitment to this underserved community:

  • urbanNOISE (with Expect Theatre)
  • From 3 to 3 (with University of Toronto Centre for Community Partnerships)
